The A. B. Clark Creed was instituted by Dr. A. Bruce Clark and it is something that all A. B. Clark Marketing Associates must agree to support, before hired. It can be easily remembered by the phrase "I am A. B. Clark" since each of the ten letters in this expression represents a core value. These ten values are:

Integrity: A. B. Clark Marketing will only thrive if it treats people fairly, justly, and honestly. A. B. Clark Marketing Associates should realize that they need to do what is right even when it might be hard to do so and even if it means losing business. Likewise, they should practice the Golden Rule meaning A. B. Clark Marketing Associates should "Do unto others as they want done unto themselves."

Actions: A. B. Clark Marketing Associates must remember that "actions do indeed speak louder than words." Similarly, if something can be done today, it SHOULD be done today.

Motivation: A. B. Clark Marketing Associates need to be motivated to serve others. As Rick Warren points out in his inspiring book The Purpose-Driven Life serving others brings INCREDIBLE joy. 

Attention: A. B. Clark Marketing Associates need to pay attention to details in their work, in order to make sure that clients receive an OUTSTANDING value for their hard-earned dollars.

Building-up: While it is easy to tear others down with words and deeds, A. B. Clark Marketing Associates should be striving to build-up and not destroy.

Customer-focused: If A. B. Clark Marketing Associates take care of clients and put clients' successes first, then clients will take care of A. B. Clark Marketing Associates.

Listening: A. B. Clark Marketing Associates can only learn what clients want and need by first listening to what they have to say. As the saying goes, God gave humans two ears and one mouth; if people would only listen twice as much as they talk, the world would be a much better place.

Accountable: A. B. Clark Marketing Associates need to be accountable to clients and to each other. Each and every person has strengths and weaknesses. Thus, to help one another to be more productive, accountability is a MUST.

Results-oriented: A. B. Clark Marketing Associates must recognize that clients have certain expectations regarding the results they expect to see from their employing A. B. Clark Marketing. Those associated with A. B. Clark Marketing need to realize that clients will evaluate A. B. Clark Marketing based upon how good a job it did at getting the results that they wanted and not based upon the results that A. B. Clark Marketing Associates obtained for others in the past.

Kindred: The word kindred means congenial or having commonalities. It implies working together as a team. As the saying goes, the first letter in "We" is a "Double You." Thus, each person at A. B. Clark Marketing should put twice as much emphasis on the other person as on himself or herself. Similarly, each person at A. B. Clark Marketing should realize that there is no letter "I" in the word "Team."
